October 26, 2025 Han-Setzer-Finckel Trio Together again on the Wooster Chamber Music Series stage! Former Emerson Quartet members Philip Setzer (violin) and David Finckel (cello) join pianist Wu Han for an all-star piano trio performance. In addition to their work as a duo, Finckel and Han serve as artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.
November 16, 2025 Callisto Quartet WCMS celebrates a return engagement by one of the most celebrated young quartets performing today. Having received the Grand Prize at the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, second prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition as well as numerous other awards, the Callisto Quartet has developed a reputation for first-rate performances.
February 15, 2026 Salix Piano Trio with Érik Gratton The Salix Piano Trio was founded in New York City in 2023 by longtime friends and colleagues — violinist Joanna Maurer, cellist Alberto Parrini, and pianist Anna Stoytcheva . For the past 20+ years, Maurer, Parrini and Stoytcheva have performed and toured together around the United States in different combinations, notably as members of the American Chamber Players.
March 15, 2026 Daedalus Quartet Praised by The New Yorker as “a fresh and vital young participant in what is a golden age of American string quartets,” the Daedalus Quartet has established itself as a leader among the new generation of string ensembles. The Daedalus Quartet has performed in many of the world’s leading musical venues including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Cité de la Musique in Paris, and in leading venues in Japan
April 26, 2026 SPA Trio Soprano, viola and piano are probably not a combination that springs to mind when one first thinks of chamber music. However, there is a long tradition of great singers performing salon type songs with an obbligato instrument: Enrico Caruso with Mischa Elman, Marian Anderson with William Primrose; even Bing Crosby and Jascha Heifetz! Since 2011 the stellar artists known as the SPA Trio have continued this tradition.
